Advance notice of Price Changes from 1^st January 2024

I am sure that you won’t be surprised to hear that unfortunately due to the increase in electric, heating, cat food, litter and cleaning items during the last year, I am having to increase my prices. I have tried to put this off for as long as possible and therefore the increase will only be applied to holidays that start on 1^st Jan 2024 or after.

If you have already made a booking for 2024 or after and would like to CANCEL the booking due to the increase in price, you are able to do so WITHOUT ANY CHARGE providing the cancellation is in writing and at least 14 DAYS BEFORE THE START DATE.

For ALL bookings in 2024 and after the price increase will be applied, even if the booking was made prior to this notice. 

New prices will be: 

·        Deluxe Chalet with outside run – per day – £15 for one cat, £8 for each additional cat who shares (cats may only share if they are from the same household and get on well enough together)

·        Large Indoor Chalet with sunshelf and window – per day – £15 for one cat, £8 for each additional cat who shares (cats may only share if they are from the same household and get on well enough together)

·        Family Deluxe Chalet with large outside run – per day- £17 for one cat, £8 for each additional cat who shares (cats may only share if they are from the same household and get on well enough together)

I am very pleased to announce that Lichfield District Council have awarded Bromley Hayes Cattery another 5 Star licence valid from 22.01.22 to 21.01.25

Vaccinations and annual boosters

All cats must be fully vaccinated against FELINE INFECTIOUS ENTERITIS & UPPER RESPIRATORY TRACT INFECTIONS (cat Flu). Vaccinations (including annual boosters) must have been completed at least two weeks BEFORE the cat’s arrival at the cattery

If your cat is allowed outdoors it is strongly recommended it also has the LEUKAEMIA vaccination (FeLV), but this is not a compulsory requirement for boarding your cat here. Please remember to email a photo of their certificate/s prior to arrival – cats cannot be accepted for boarding without their current vaccination certificate being provided before they enter the cattery. If you are unsure whether your cat’s vaccinations are up to date, please contact your veterinary surgery asap.

During the Covid pandemic most of you will be aware that I did not charge for any cancellations. Some of you were extremely generous and still paid for part or all of your bookings. For this I am extremely grateful.

As life is returning to normal and holidays are thankfully becoming part of our lives again, in order to survive as a business, I need to re-introduce cancellation charges for last minute cancellations

Cancellations – fees now apply if bookings are cancelled within 14 days of your arrival date.  

If a booking is cancelled with less than 14 days WRITTEN notice or “Non Arrival” a cancellation fee of the total boarding amount will be charged.  By requesting a booking for your cat/s with us, you are agreeing to these charges if your booking is then cancelled for any reason.  A receipt for your payment can be emailed on request if you need this to claim your money back on your holiday insurance.

Medical History – we will require full details of your cat/s medical history on booking. Please inform us as soon as possible if your cat/s is/are unwell before your holiday and we will do everything possible to ensure they can still stay with us. If however this is not possible, there may be an alternative option of caring for your cat at home instead – please contact us to discuss this. I am sorry but cats with any contagious illness can not be boarded. THIS INCLUDES COUGHS, RUNNY NOSE, SNEEZES AND COLDS OF ANY SORT. Owners will appreciate that this is essential in order to safeguard the health & wellbeing of all cats boarded.

It’s going to be a busy year … there are not many spaces left during 2015 already! Lots of you have been busy planning ahead 🙂
